Anonymous asked: The Howard govt placed a ban on the Territories creating laws which in effect legalised euthanasia. As the law was already in place at the time it basically rendered it invalid. If this ban is reversed by repealing the section would it then enliven the previous law (which to my knowldged has not been repealed. Therefore making euthanasia legal in the NT? Am right or have I missed something from your lectures?
If the NT law has indeed not been repealed, you are correct.
