Anonymous asked: I would like to pursue reimbursement for the cost of a new rug and a vacuum cleaner am unsure how to do it. Their sales man was the pushiest salesman I ever met. He barged into my house before I could blink and sprinkled powder on my couch and my bed my bed to demonstrate the superior action of the vacuum and also poured a glass of wine on my rug and now my carpet is ruined. Theres a stain in the middle of my sitting room. The company says this stain was there before he came but this most certainly was not the case and it is derogatory to make that insinuation. I would like $2,000 to cover the cost of the vacuum, carpet and stress due to running my home business and loss of reputation. Should I to go to the media or the legal system because something needs to be done to stop this happening to others in a similar situation.

Probably the best thing to do is to contact Fair Trading Queensland and make a complaint http://www.fairtrading.qld.gov.au/.
