Anonymous asked: I've always wondered in Ice TV how did they prove that there were people watching Channel Nine for weeks? That would be the first excuse I'd make after the yellow pages case, something along the lines of "but I put the work into compiling the guide myself".
Ice TV’s Content Manager, Mitchell Rilett, gave evidence at trial and although his testimony was contested by Channel Nine, the trial judge largely accepted his evidence. See the reasons of Justice Bennett at first instance at [123]-[135].
