Anonymous asked: Form your archived 'ask me anything' QandA'a you appear to be contemplating a change in career. What are you thinking about going into and how serious is it?
I am simply beginning to think about what my options might be and what alternative career opportunities might be available. I still enjoy my job and working at QUT but I have been here for 6 years now and I beginning to lose some of my passion and enthusiasm. It may be that all I need is a holiday and that sense of passion and enthusiasm will return, or might be I need to try something else. So I’m thinking about what potential opportunities may exist in the media or in politics.
As for how serious I am? Well if something amazing fell into my lap I would take it today without any hesitation but I know that is unlikely to happen. So ask me again once semester is over in a month or two.
