Anonymous asked: Why do you think there is a disproportionately large number of gay male lecturers at QUT. I've been at QUT 5yrs and all but one have been gay. Not saying it's a bad thing at all, it's just curious. Do you think it's because QUT is more accepting than other unis? Because in general gay men suit the university culture? Or is it an ominous sign that gay men are not as accepted in industry so they teach instead?
I didn’t realise there were a disproportionately large number of gay male lecturers at QUT, so I can’t really speculate as to why that is so.
