Anonymous asked: Do lecturers at QUT enjoy tenure, or is this an anomaly outside Australia?
Some academics at QUT and elsewhere do enjoy tenure. However, it is not so much the US model of tenure; rather it is more akin to the ongoing or continuing appointments that public servants enjoy.
