freedom to dither

I think there are a lot of Republicans who are considering a run for President:

• Sarah Palin (of course);
• Newt Gingrich (although I think he may ultimately decide against it);
• Mike Huckabee (if he decides to give up his lucrative TV career with FoxNews);
• Mitt Romney (is a compelling candidate on paper but as we saw in 2008 he doesn’t seem to resonate with the Republican base);
• Rick Santorum, Mike Pence and John Thune could all be strong candidates with Washington experience;
• I also think Marc Rubio could mount a strong campaign with Tea Party support;
• and then there are several strong Republican Governors like Chris Christie, Haley Barbour and Mitch Daniels.

For the Republicans I would like to see a moderate Republican like Lindsay Graham run.  As for the Democrats I would love to see Hillary Clinton run … and win!
